Photoshop Makeover Part 4

This the fourth part of the image makeover in Photoshop tutorial. I had first  fixed the skin. The tutorial is here

In this tutorial I will be adding an eye shadow.
This is how the image looks so far.
This how the Layers palette looks like.
Step 1 : Press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+E to form a composite layer -- Layer12.
Step 2 : Click the New Layer button and new blank Layer 12 forms.
 Step 3 : Zoom in on the eyes.
Step 4 : Press b to bring up the Brush. Click on the top panel to bring up the Brush settings. Set the Hardness to 0
 
Step 5 : Click the Foreground color.
 
Step 6 : The Color Picker comes up. Click on Color Libraries.
Step 7 : Click a color you want for the eye shadow. 
Step 8 : These are the shade that comes up. I have clicked on a color. The shades are shown at the left.
Step 9 : I am clicking on the topmost shade. Click OK.
Step 10 : Make the Brush small by pressing the [ (left bracket).
Step 11 : Lower the Opacity to 60% in the top panel.
Step 12 : Paint with the brush to add the eye shadow.
Step 13 : Go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur.
Step 14 : The Gaussian Blur dialogue box comes up. Drag the Radius slider suitably till the hard edge around  the eye shadow goes away.
Step 15 : Change the Blend Mode to Hue.
The eyeshadow has been added. I will be continuing the tutorial.  Please save your work as psd file so you can reopen it again.
