Luminosity Masks with Photoshop

You can use Luminosity Masks in Photoshop to tinker with the light in a subtle way in your image. You can increase or decrease the light in portions of your image. A luminosity Mask is not built into Photoshop. It has to be made, but the process is very easy.

I have opened this image in Photoshop.\

The same image after applying the Luminosity Mask. The Colors are brighter, especially the grass and the fence.
The tutorial is here.
